THE PHOENIX WAND CONSECRATION RITUAL

This Wand will prove to be invaluable in operations connected with the Seven Planets. The name of this instrument is the Phoenix Wand and has a connection with the ancient Egyptian Ousa Scepter. The main shaft of the Phoenix Wand is painted in seven different colored sections referring to the Seven Sacred Planets, the Seven Double letters of the Hebrew alphabet and the Seven Colors of the Rainbow. The top section of the Wand is to be painted White and the last band on the lower Black. Each colored section of the Wand is consecrated separately by the Invocation of the force of the Planet to which it is referred. The White and Black extremities of the Wand are attributed to Kether and Malkuth respectively.

When Invoking with the Phoenix Wand the operator holds the Band allotted to the Planet Sephira he is at the time working with, pointing the White end of the Wand away from his body.

When Banishing he, as before, holds the appropriate planetary band but this time he directs the Black end of the Wand away from his body.

The Top of the Phoenix Wand represents the IBIS, a bird sacred to the ancient Egyptians; the forked lower end representing the feet of the Ibis.

The Phoenix Wand is best made from wood about two feet in length and half and inch thick; the curved neck can be made by cutting small sections of wood at an angle and gluing together the pieces.

The colors are as follows and they are taken from the Paths of the Tree of Life in the King Scale of Color (Atziloth):

The top of the Phoenix Wand (the Ibis head) is painted Gold to represent Spiritual Force. The White Band attributed to Kether must be a little longer than all the other bands representing the Power of Spirit over all- manifestation levels.

Magical Weapons of course have no value whatsoever unless they are properly charged or magnetized with the appropriate level of Force; the following Consecration may be used in the case of the Phoenix Wand.

The Consecration of the Phoenix Wand

1) Set up an Altar with the same items as used I the Consecration of the Four Elemental weapons, but this time drape it with a black cloth to represent Space and Time, on the Altar place the newly-made Phoenix Wand.

2) Perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.

3) Circumambulate with the Phoenix Wand holding it by the White Band, and saying:

"Let the Divine Light of EHEIEH enter into this place of mine operation, let the Vast One send forth a Ray of Glory from the Crown of All Being, let that Ray of Glory be retained in this instrument so that it may obtain the virtue of Spirituality in the Name of YEHESHUAH."

4) Stop facing the East to describe a large Circle with the Wand, point Wand at the center of the circle and visualize with force: a Great Spiral of Brilliant White Light entering the weapon through the Ibis Head and causing the White Band that you hold to glow with Great Brilliance (Kether). (Place Phoenix Wand on Altar).

5) Go to the Altar face South (the position of Fire in the Elements) and say:

"In the Name of ELOHIM GIBOR, Invoke the Fiery Hosts of Mars!"

6) Take up Phoenix Wand by the Red band and say:

"In theName of Elohim Gibor, Seraphim attend me!"

7) Hold the Phoenix Wand aloft and Invoke thus:

"Come forth thou blazing Fiery Ones! Thou Might Warriors who sweep awaythe excess of degenerated Chaos. In the Name of ELOHIM GIBOR enter herein to assess and re-adjust. Shower me with thy Courage and Energy to continue in the Way before me. In thy lawful Majesty bring Calm and Detachment within me. Let me Analyze and Endure that I may laugh in order to burn away all that is impure."

Make the Sign of Mars with the Phoenix Wand in the air before you, in doingso visualize the Red Band of the Wand that you hold Glow with a powerful Red Light.

8) Turn sunwise to the East, place Phoenix Wand once more on the Altar before you. Extend arms sideways in the form of a Cross and say:

"In the Name of ELOAH VA DA'ATH, Invoke the Golden Hosts of the Sun!"

Take up the Phoenix Wand by the Orange Band and say:

"In the Name of ELOAHVA DA'ATH, Malachim attend me!"

9) Hold the Phoenix Wand aloft and Invoke thus:

"Thou open Eye of Glory that pours forth the Life giving Rays; shine on us. O Lord of the Fire of the World who showers the Golden Rain of Light and Love upon the Children and Creatures of the Earth, come and enlighted us in the Name of TETRAGRAMMATON ALOAH VA DA'ATH.

Show me the Beauty of Thy Divine Reason that it may be shown forth and blessed in the Kingdom of Earth."

10) Make the Sign of Sun in the air before you with the Phoenix Wand, and in doing so visualize the section of the Phoenix Wand that you are holding (Orange) glowing with a powerful Orange Light.

11) Turn sunwise to the West, place the Phoenix Wand on the Altar. Extend the arms sideways in the form of a Cross and say:

"In the Name of ELOHIM TZABAOTH, Beni Elohim attend me!"

12) Hold the Phoenix Wand aloft and Invoke thus:

"Enter herein with the Wand of Double Power. The Serpents of Light and Darkness wind around thy Rod with Wing above. Let the Waters of Pure Intelligence flow. In the name of ELOHIM TZARAOTH come forth and shed light on the Unknown that I seek in truth. Let me look into the Well of Truth and see, crystal-clear the Images of Eternity. Come to me now on winged feet so swift, bearing thy Rod of Power, O Silver Shining One!"

make the sign of Mercury, in the air before you with the Wand and in so doing visualize the section that you are holding, as glowing with a powerful light of Golden Yellow.

13) Turn sunwise to face once more South, place Wand on the Altar, extend arms in the form of a Cross and say:

"In the Name of JEHOVAH TZABAOTH, let the Elohim attend me!"

14) Hold the Phoenix Wand aloft by the green band and Invoke thus:

"In the Name of JEHOVAH TZABAOTH send forth the Force of the Awakener in Harmony, Valour and Firm resolve. May the Star of Promise rise over me to light the Eternal lamp of the Mysteries of Spirit; to hold the Rose a wear the Girdle, to walk beside the Leopard with the Dove do I strive to. To create inharmonious action, with fiery energy ablaze, that I may have Victory in Achievement in my works."

Make the sign of Venus in the air before you with the Wand, and in so doing visualize the section of the Phoenix Wand that you hold, as glowing with a powerful light of Emerald Green.

15) Turn sun-wise to face once more East, place the Phoenix Wand upon the Altar, extend the arms sideways in the form of a Cross and say:

"In the Name of SHADDAI EL CHAI, I invoke the Towers of Strength!"

Take up the Phoenix Wand by the Blue Band and say with force:

"In the Name of SHADDAI ELCHAI, Kerubim attend me!"

16) Hold the Phoenix Wand aloft and Invoke thus:

"Thou Blessed Lesser Light that reflects the Light of the Sun by Night, Mighty Ruler of Flux and Reflux, soft Bowl of Receptivity who ruleth the Laws of Cyclic Action and Polarity. In the name of SHADDAI EL CHAI, let thy luminous Light gently shine forth upon me as thy Silver Star rises over they Mysterious Sea as thou sweepest the tides to flow in constant motion."

Make with the Phoenix Wand the sign of the Moon, and in so doing visualize the section of the Wand that you are holding, glowing with powerful bright Blue Light.

17) Turn sun-wise to face once more the West, place the Phoenix Wand upon the Altar, extending the arms inthe form of a Cross say:

"In the Name of JEHOVA ELOHIM, I invoke the Hosts of Saturn!"

Take up the Phoenix Wand by the Indigo Band and say:

"In the Name of JEHOVAH ELOHIM, let the Aralim attend me!"

18) Holding the Phoenix Wand aloft invoke thus:

"In the Name of ELOHIM may the Silent, gloomy One enter herein with slow and measured tread. From Interstellar Space come in to show me that, though such Space is Form, it also frees through the lessons of limitation. Come forth, O Ancient King, in Regal solem state and let thy still silence of Understanding communicate unto my willing Self."

Make the Sign of Saturn with the Wand and in doing so visualize the section that you hold as glowing with a soft Indigo Illumination.

19) Turn-about sun-wise to face once more the same direction (West), place the Phoenix Wand upon the Altar, extend the arms sideways in the form of a Cross and say:

"In the Name of El Strong and Wonderful, I invoke once more the Hosts of Water, through the Power of the Thrones I invoke the Mighty Brilliant Ones!"

Take up the Phoenix Wand by the Violet Band and say:

"In the Name of EL, Strong and Wonderful, Chashmalim attend me!"

20) Holding the Phoenix Wand aloft invoke thus:

"By the Mighty Name of EL send out thy Merciful Love upon me. May thy Beneficent Influence spread over and uplift me as the Wings of the Eagle. Soothe me and lead me constructively forward on the Path ofLight. May the Crowned and Seated King on his Cubical Throne be with me Now!"

Make the sign of Jupiter with the Wand in the air before you and inso doing visualize the section of the Phoenix Wand that you hold as glowing with clear Violet Light.

21) Turn sun-wise to face the North, place the Phoenix Wand on the Altar. With the arms at the sides say:

"In the Name of ADONAI MELEKH I call forth the Powers of Earth!"

Take up the Phoenix Wand by the Black end and say:

"In the Name of ADONAI, let the Ashim attend me!"

Make the invoking Hexagram of Earth (Saturn) with the Wand saying:

"Yea! I thus invoke and most powerfully call upon the Souls of Fire so that they may give unto this Phoenix Wand that I bear the Virtue of Stability and Strength. In the Most Holy Name of ADONAI."

Make with the Wand the sign of Taurus and in doing so visualize a shaft of dark green Fire rising from the Earth in the North and striking the forked base of the Wand. Then say:

"It is Done, so Be it."

22) Race the Banishing Hexagram of Earth in the North. Lastly, perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual ofthe Pentagram drawing the figures with the Black end of the Phoenix Wand, and vibrating the Names with great force.
